Durham World Heritage Site is amazing! I often visit with Jade 🙂 It consists of a castle and a Cathedral divided by Palace green which has many different buildings along the sides. Culture for Kids visited the site starting with the Cathedral…

We began our tour in the Galilee Chapel, which houses the remains of St Bede.

The tour continued in the in the main part of the Cathedral where we discovered lions and many other different animals.

The education team at the Cathedral organised a sensory play room excellent for your younger members… and the older ones loved it to!
